Social (art)Work
Cambodia 2011
In 2011, the artist won a Davis Projects for Peace Grant in order to design a collaborative arts and social-media project with non-profit organization Transitions Global in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The clients of Transitions Global, underage female survivors of sex-trafficking, worked with the artist and organization to produce restorative art and media in a series of creative workshops. Images, video and ephemera from the project will be posted on bashlock.com shortly.
